Paperoko, a unique and entirely innovative bookbinding technique using only paper.

The aim is to create an original binding that is completely self-supporting, meaning to achieve a binding where the book’s structure is formed by the direct assembly of its signatures. These signature are not bound together by external elements such as glue, cord, and/or ribbons.

This binding follows the principles of cardboard packaging known as ‘Structural Packaging.’ Their characteristic is being self-locking, self-supporting, and becoming sturdy once shaped. They require no other materials or interventions than cutting and folding cardboard sheets.

This approach allows for the addition of signatures at the beginning or end of the book without compromising its structure.
